Marie-Louise Arlt becomes part of the acatech initiative "Energy systems of the future" (ESYS). This is a joint initiative by acatech - the National Academy of Science and Engineering, the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, and the Union of the german Academies of Sciences and Humanities to provide input to the opportunities and challenges of the energy transition in Germany and Europe.
